The Whay Pat Tavern is one of the oldest bars in St Andrews. It’s a busy locals pub adjacent to the west port arch on south street popular with an eclectic mix of local, students tourists and golfers.
The pub consists of a busy front public bar with a spacious lounge to the rear with a large TV screen. With both Sky & BT sport, the pub is busy on match days for the rugby and other sporting events.
There is also a small outside seating area in a courtyard perfect for smokers.
The pub was the original birth place of the Fife branch of Camra which is evident in the wide range of cask ales.
